Lots of people are familiar with the green MCPE Addons app by Kayen Works. I have found a blue one now, and am wondering where it comes from, if it is by the same developers, and how they are leeching off of the green app.

I have a pretty good understanding of how databases work and how apps are designed.

Theory 1

Kayen Works own the app. This could be explained by the fact that content is being added at a slower rate rather than when it is being added to the green addons app, meaning that the two apps are using the same backend software and frontend, and are owned by Kayen.

Theory 2

Someone is leeching off of the Addons app. This could be explained with a few features missing in this blue version, such as the ability to comment. Typically with apps, there is a place to insert a URL that will force the app to request content from the provided URL, which is how the MCPEDL App Scam happened. If this is the case, they would not be able to add comments or let users write to the Addons database without a secret key. This would also explain why there is no ability to sign in to the blue app, because they cannot edit the real database, so sign in wouldn't work.
